Military College Murree (MCM) has announced admissions for Class 8th for the academic year 2027. MCM is one of Pakistan's premier cadet colleges, offering quality education and military-oriented training to prepare young cadets for leadership roles in the Pakistan Armed Forces. Interested candidates (unmarried male Pakistani citizens) who are currently studying in 7th or 8th class and meet the age criteria of 12-14 years on April 1, 2027, are eligible to apply. The selection process is highly competitive, involving a written entrance exam, intelligence test, interview, and medical examination. Written tests will be conducted across multiple major cities in Pakistan.

Must be a male citizen of Pakistan. Must be unmarried. Age must be between 12 and 14 years on 1st April 2027 (90 days upper/lower age relaxation may be granted). Must be studying in 7th or 8th class. Must provide 7th class pass certificate at the time of admission.Candidates must be between 12 and 14 years of age on April 1, 2027. A relaxation of up to 90 days (upper or lower) may be granted under special circumstances.
The registration fee varies by category: PKR 2,000 for children of Army JCOs/Soldiers/Punjab Rangers/FC (KPK); PKR 3,000 for children of Army Officers/AFNS (serving/retired); and PKR 4,000 for Civilians and children of Air Force/Navy/Civil Armed Forces personnel.
Admissions open for 1st Year (FA/FSc) Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, and Arts at FGEI Cantt/Garrison Colleges in Rawalpindi & Chaklala.
Admissions open at Cadet College Karak (Boys & Girls) for 7th to F.Sc and Cadet School System for LKG to 6th.
The written exam consists of both objective and subjective questions. It covers English, Mathematics, General Science, Urdu, Islamiyat, History, and Geography, based on the 6th and 7th class textbooks of the Punjab Textbook Board.
The written test will be held in multiple cities across Pakistan, including Peshawar, Abbottabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Lahore, Sialkot, Multan, Hyderabad, Karachi, Quetta, Pano Aqil, Sargodha, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and Murree.
Yes, children of Shuhada and those who died during service can apply for the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) quota. Their applications must be sent directly to the COAS Secretariat.
