Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) has announced admissions for its prestigious 65th Batch of Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering Cadets for the session 2027-2028. This is an exceptional opportunity for young, passionate Pakistani males to join the Merchant Navy and embark on a rewarding global career. The academy offers a comprehensive 2-year residential training program that combines rigorous academic learning with practical maritime training.
Upon successful completion of the training, graduates are awarded an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering by the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. Additionally, cadets receive mandatory certificates for courses approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), opening doors to international maritime careers. Candidates must undergo a multi-stage selection process including a written test, medical exam, physical efficiency test, and interview to secure admission.

The application processing fee is Rs. 4,000/-. It must be paid via a Pay Order or Bank Draft drawn in favor of 'Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi' and submitted along with the physical application form via courier.
Candidates must pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which includes running 1.6 Km (1 mile) in 8.5 minutes, 15 push-ups in 2 minutes, 15 sit-ups in 2 minutes, and 2 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
Upon successful completion of the 2-year residential training at PMA, cadets are awarded an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, along with IMO-approved certificates.
